Facebook is not the only company building a metaverse. Here are the other companies rivalling Meta

Meta is not the only company that is building the metaverse. From the Chinese social media and gaming giant Tencent to Nikeland and Microsoft, here is a list of companies that are entering the metaverse:

Tencent: has not officially announced any plans to enter the metaverse, but the company has applied for several metaverse-related trademarks.
The company partnered with Epic Games and Roblox’s gaming platform.
Nikeland: Nike recently announced its collaboration with Roblox to launch the Nikeland virtual world.

Roblox Corporation: The company went public this year and announced its plan to develop the metaverse for the gaming platform.

Dyson: Announced the Dyson Demo VR, which creates simulations and visualization tech to allow customers to test their products from the comfort of their homes.

Other companies that are building the metaverse include Aldin Dynamics, Sensorium, Nvidia, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.
